My Quilting History
Hi! I'm Valerie.
I've been sewing since I was 12 years old, and I've been making quilts for over 17 years! It's my hobby, my therapy, and one of the many ways I show love to my family. I have two sons and eight beautiful grandchildren (and one on the way), and they all have at least one of my quilts. I'd love for you to have one, too!
I'm also available for garment sewing. My husband is a Shriner Clown, and I've made several clown costumes. I love to sew.....anything!

I've made many quilts over the years. Whether they be gifts or whether I was hired to make something specific, I've loved every step of the process. From the designing of the pattern to the choosing of the fabric to actually making and then delivering the final product, I love it all.
I have a love for all types of sewing. You will see on my Gallery page that I have made lots of children's clothing as well as some costumes.

I am very flexible on the process. I'm happy to shop for the fabric choices with you, you can tell me your preferences, or I can completely surprise you! I piece all my quilts on my sewing machine, and I also do all my own quilting.
One thing to note is that I don't keep a quilt inventory. I make each quilt custom to your order, so this will involve some time for completion. Give me a call or shoot me an email and lets talk about what you'd like!
